OMGCabal SKilling Guide

Introduction:

WTF is Skill EXP? : Skill EXP is experience gained by hitting a monster, but applies to your skill level not your character level.
- For example, Sword or Magic.
You gain skill EXP by hitting a monster with a Sword/Magic Attack, and Damage does not affect how much Skill EXP you earn.
- For example, 1 DMG = 10 Skill EXP is the same 100 DMG = 10 Skill EXP
A Cabal Pro Stated
“When going for low level and high skill levels, avoid grouping monsters because of the fact that doing only 5 damage in one skill on one monster will return the same amount of skill EXP as mobbing multiple monsters and doing 25 damage total with one skill. It will only give you more level experience, but with the same amount of skill EXP.”
Dummy Skilling:

Because we are all premium users, we are allowed to use the training dummies in the major cites. Training Dummies can be used before level 90, but you can only train to the 30% mark in a skill rank. You can skill train on Dummies for 100% but, I would advise you not, but the exp rates are high in OMGCabal, so it doesn’t matter.
AFK SKILLING
- AFK (away from keyboard) is basically holding down the desired skill while you are away. You need tape, and MP pots. 1st you click on the training dummy, then tape your skill number down (use the numbers above the letters, not num pad). 2nd you sleep, go do something important, or spam AFK to people on MSN ^^. Come back and hopefully your skill level should of raised and skilled while you were gone. Remember after level 90, you can skill with dummies 100%.

Combo Skilling:

After level 10 rank up, you earn a new ability known as Combo. It is fairly easy and you just need to have good timing. Anyway, while in combo mode, use a skill and try to get good or fantastic, and don’t use the skill if its on cool time, as it cancels the combo. Anyway, scoring a great or FANTASTIC on a combo with a sword/magic skill gives you more skill Exp than if you didn’t use combo. It’s a great way to skill level in OMGCabal, as skill exp rates are high =)

General Skilling in OMGCabal

Since this is a p server with good rates, it does not really matter where you skill train. Train at dummies till 10% and then go to the general area of monsters you can fight, and Combo. Skill training in OMGCabal is 100x easier than regular Cabal, so don’t worry where you train again. ^^

Conclusion:

As I said before, it doesn’t matter where you skill train. We have high server rates, so if you combo monsters, you will skill level fast. Have fun, look forward to seeing you ingame.
